Whether you choose to host a celebration, cocktail or dinner party, wedding or special occasion, we will help to create a special memory for you and your guests with a private event in any one of our stylish and intimate areas within Commune Wine. With unparalleled views across the Yarra River to Melbourne’s city skyline, our restaurant is divided into three dining spaces – our front wine bar, our main dining room and our back balcony. Commune wine is also available for events inside and outside of trading hours, and can accommodate a capacity of 80 guests seated and 150 standing. Commune Wine Bar has a capacity of 10 for seated dining, 30 guests for cocktail events.
Commune Balcony has a capacity of 20 guests for seated dining and up to 30 guests for cocktail events.

The space is set in soft earthy tones, relaxed linen and vibrant greenery to provide an elegant and natural feel. Dine from daylight into the evening with separate lighting, transparent shades and shutters, and outdoor heating so whether rain, hail or shine, you’ll always be comfortable.
Commune Dining Room has a capacity of up to 60 guests for seated dining and up to 80 guests for cocktail events.
For larger events, the main dining room provides an exclusive backdrop of our gorgeous city scape with floor to ceiling windows. It is an open, bright and expansive room, with custom-made wooden tables and vibrant greenery for a soft, natural finish. Providing full access to your own bar as well as views directly into the kitchen, this is an elegant space for any special occasion.
